Current films about the political and social effects of globalisation, the causes of flight and migration, human rights and the effects of climate change are part of the diverse programme that the biennial Conference Filmtage Globale Perspektiven presents to an interested public.

In the programme, various cinematic forms reflect the possibility of presenting global topics in images. Subsequent discussions with filmmakers, media representatives and experts offer a unique forum for interested persons and actors from non-commercial film and educational work. Workshops, masterclasses with directors and our panel series IM FOKUS on current topics and their representation in the media round off the programme.

For non-commercial intercultural film work, the submitted films will be available in an online catalogue after the event. From 2024, around 20 films will be recommended in detail for intercultural film work.
